About oakwood park kennels

Oakwood Park Kennels is located on the border of Bracknell and Wokingham. Surrounded by the rich and diverse environment of Big Wood, it is ideally suited to dog kennelling, of which proprietor, Mrs Carpenter, has many years' experience.

She has successfully competed in breed shows, including Crufts, and working trials, judging occasionally. She was dog handler and photographic assistant on the production of a major series of dog breed handbooks and encyclopaedia, as well as being co-author of a book on dog training and the responsibilities of dog ownership.

Specialising in dog boarding, our dedicated staff make every effort to cater for each dog's individual requirements.

All guests have a ‘room with a view’ depending on whether they prefer to be by the main activity area or overlooking the quieter woods. During the quieter times, all dogs are housed in the main kennel block. When it is busier, the small dogs are housed in the small kennel block so that their owners do not have to worry about their pet having overly large or exuberant neighbours!
