Dog training facilities in Berkshire

At Oakwood Park Kennels our experienced staff are happy to discuss your dog training requirements. If you are considering getting a dog and would like advice on whether a dog will fit in your life-style or how to introduce your new companion to your home then do please call.

Your dog lives at home with you so we recommend our Basic Twelve Week Training Course as a good place to start improving your relationship with your dog. Normally held on a Tuesday evening, with small class numbers, using tried and tested methods and suitable for dogs from about six months of age.  Our dog trainers will try and help you understand your dog's behaviour and make the most of your relationship. There are many different approaches to dog training and we are happy to adapt to assist you with your dog.

If there is a problem attending the Basic Dog Training Course, then it is possible that we can arrange one to one lessons to help you get on the right track. This may be in our Training Hall or outdoors in our rural surroundings.

In some cases it may be that residential dog training, where your dog stays with us, will jump-start your better behaved pet. This does not preclude you having to do some work too! This can be an option where bad habits need to be stopped or you need a breathing space to consider your options.
